In the 10th annual Buffalo Business First Power 250 list, a yearly ranking of the region’s most influential people, President Gary Olson has once again joined the top 100 – ranking number 89 overall – along with many leaders associated with Daemen.


Three Daemen students from the Class of 2020 won – a prestigious industry honor – for films they created while seniors in the college’s animation program.


The Amherst State of the Town, held at Daemen for the second year in a row, highlighted the economic resilience of the community, businesses and called special attention to the strength of the town-gown relationship between the college and town leaders.


Daemen has forged a long-term partnership with Fortune 500 energy company AES and regional supplier EnergyMark to offset 90 percent of its electricity use with credits from a solar farm in Batavia, N.Y.
